Social Action For Child Rehabilitation Emancipation and Development (SACRED)

Secretary One of the key concepts of SACRED programme is the Community Based model from bottom up top down approach has been practicing to draw from the community, living in the community (Local Staff Rural Development workers) Supporting every aspects of the programme in the community.

CBR is a truly comprehensive rehabilitation programme facilitating and offering resources both teachnical, social and economic programme aimed at achieving remarkable results, to access in all its programmes.

SACRED has been trying out to improve the good relationship with likeminded NGO's and government. SACRED has been promoting the DPO's at the villages, Mandal, District and state level as well to have a strong broad network to ensure that their basic human right as respected and the barriers in the society are removed.

1.SACRED Organized Audiogram test for Hearing impaired children by Audiologist, listed 24 children Required Speech therapy with Hearing aids to improve their speech & Language Development. SACRED aiming to support Hearing aids through GOVT and other donors. 2.SACRED conducted Ortho Screening camp for physical disabled children’s by Specialist Doctors from Spain through RDT. Total 48 children Assed by Doctors and advised Surgical Correction for 16 children remaining children need POP, Physio therapy and Provide Aids & Appliances to improve their mobility. SACRED motivating and counseling to the Parents to Undergo surgical correction. 3.SACRED Organized Medical camp for mentally ill persons from remote villages. This type of camps was helping for poor people to access psychiatric treatment in time. Total 292 mentally ill people were under psychiatric treatment.	1.We had convergence meeting with RDT and GOVT IKP-DRDA It is a gainful event to strengthen for both Organizational staff in process of Development and Empowerment of Person with Disability. It is a great Opportunity add Highly privileged Project Launched Caring of carers program in 3 Mandals of Kurnool District.
